Billing Update Notice
TADTS has recently reviewed our contracted pricing structure and identified an error in the implementation of the fee schedule that became effective January 1, 2024.
As a result, collections performed at either a collection site or a client site have not been billed according to the contracted rates. Effective June 1, 2026, billing will be corrected to reflect the pricing outlined in our agreement.
The updated collection fees are as follows:
In addition, many collection sites have implemented Direct Observation fees. Any test requested by the employer or required by DOT regulations to be conducted under direct observation will be subject to this charge. This fee is a pass-through expense and will be billed as a separate line item.
Direct Observation Fee: $30.00 per event
We appreciate your understanding as we correct this billing discrepancy and ensure all services are invoiced in accordance with the contracted pricing structure. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding these changes.
This increase does not affect any state agency currently utilizing the TPASS contract.

Please note that there is no need for a contract amendment, as the terms of our agreement allow for changes in the agreement, which include price adjustments.
